My Story
Welcome! I am The Garden Companion - an experienced gardener located on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border. Over the years I have met numerous gardening enthusiasts who want to be able to do more in their gardens but just don't have the knowledge or confidence to get going. These are people who love being in the garden and want to do the work themselves rather than hiring a professional gardener. I soon realised there was a gap in the market where I could share my skills to enable this group of eager, green fingered friends to gain the confidence and know-how to develop their own haven. What can be more satisfying than seeing the fruits of your labour flourish into something that you can be proud of?
My mission is to provide personalised, practical guidance for garden owners to set them on the right path. This could encompass the garden as a whole or just one aspect such as the vegetable garden or flower borders. I'm happy to assist in any way I can.
As we all know, a garden is more than just a space. The benefits of being outdoors and the mindfulness required to nurture a plot are now widely recognised. Rather than bringing in someone else to tend to your garden, why not embrace it yourself and enjoy the enormous rewards that our gardens give. I'm here for you, so let's get started!
